Announcing the Address of Our Second Location Coming to Orangevale!

Alright, the sign is up meaning the cat is out of the bag…

Our new location is located at 9372 Madison Avenue Suite #1 in Orangevale.
The restaurant that was there prior was The Paisley Cafe, which I know many of you are familiar with (and many of you guessed would be where we’re opening). The previous tenants actually sold our baked goods there for a bit before they closed, so this is kind of a full circle moment for me.

We are not planning on being a full-blown full-service cafe at this time. Maybe some day, but that’s not something I wish to tackle at this time. Fortunately, it is a hooded kitchen with the equipment for a restaurant if we ever decide to go that route. But for now, it will be a bakery.

We have a fryer in this location and are planning for certain days of the month to eventually have fried (yeast risen) donuts, funnel cakes, beignets, apple fritters, cannoli's, etc…

Also planning on offering focaccia bread and French bread occasionally, and cinnamon rolls more regularly than I do now (and eventually a take-and-bake option for them).

Once we are settled in the new space and have a good system going, I will be offering cakes again, but it won’t be right away. The number one call I get every single day is for cakes… and I really miss making them, but it’s been impossible with the size kitchen I’m currently working with. I’m getting there, people! Promise. Cakes will be comin’ atcha as soon as I’m able.

I’m looking forward to being fully moved in there and able to recipe test new things. The list is huge. It’s gonna take some time, especially since I’m baking for our Rancho location at the same time. Y’all know that gluten free AND vegan recipes take a while to tackle… so bear with me.

We still have a lot of work to do, but we’re getting closer every day!
