Took him back to his beloved grandmother's kitchen when he was a little boy, Noone has ever made gingerbread like hers, until you!!! My daughter gave him a box of 5 gingerbread mice as a Christmas gift. His face!!.... priceless! He devoured one immediately and the tears came right back! I’m so thankful for The Caring Kitchen! As someone with several food allergies, I’m extremely excited to finally have baked goodies again. The Orangevale location is Top 9 allergen free and has a wide variety of items. I’ve tried the Chocolate Chip Cookies, Texas Sheet Cake, Churro Frost’em, Cinnamon Roll and Coffee Cake so far and they are all beyond amazing! If 10 stars was an option I’d give them a 10! The staff is very warm, welcoming and helpful and the bakery is absolutely spotless and, of course, smells amazing.

I love this place! The beautiful pink aesthetic of the logo and decor is gorgeous and inviting. The Star Wars theme as well is super cool. Love that the owner is a fellow Star Wars geek! It's so nice to have a gluten free, vegan bakery locally that also has so many delicious treats so I don't have to travel to the Bay Area every time I want something special. Staff is very friendly. Prices are only slightly higher than say, Mariposa Bakery in Oakland, but not at all unacceptable given the quality you're getting and the convenience of being local to Sacramento. The Caring Kitchen now has a 2nd location opening in Orangevale (spring 2025) which is super exciting! My wife and I love shopping here. I highly recommend!

I have only visited the bakery 2x due to its location being about a 40 minute drive for me, BUT I think about the bakery and it’s yummy treats quite literally every day. Although I have yet to meet the owner, through watching her social media posts, you can clearly see her true commitment and the heart she pours into what she does. I do not have any food allergies but I really try to watch what I put into my body, especially dealing with chronic GI issues. When I eat the Caring Kitchen’s sweet treats, I know that I’m not only getting amazing quality ingredients, but also a pastry that a chef has poured her heart into. Delaney clearly puts in HOURS of work into her business while also raising beautiful children/a family and I think that is so honorable. I will continue to drive those 40 minutes when I can and would even drive farther because I know that these delicious treats are a product of love, commitment, and compassion (and it helps that everything is truly decadent & delicious!). Our family loves The Caring Kitchen. While we are not vegan or GF, we have close friends and family that are, and we appreciate being able to have amazing treats that are safe for everyone. On top of that, you would never know that these goodies don’t have eggs, butter, or traditional flour. If you love garlic, the Double Garlic Sourdough Bread is absolutely something you must try. Way beyond good! We ❤️ the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Pie-Everyone goes crazy for this pie. Our daughter was visiting from Idaho and she bought this pie as she eats gluten free. I found Caring Kitchen bakery on ten Gluten Dude app! I just moved to Rancho Cordova the day before and I was soooo excited to find a dedicated GF bakery! I bought a couple snickerdoodle cookies, a funfetti sugar cookie, coffee cake muffin and a sourdough bread round. The cookies and muffin were delicious! Good size, soft and so tasty, many GF treats are dry, these were such a treat! The GF sourdough round was also sooooo good! We heated it up, sliced it and dipped it in olive oil and vinegar! The only bad thing about my order was how many times I had to listen to my husband say "There's no way this is Keto!" We've been trying to eat low carb/low sugar, but sometimes those sweet cravings kick in.
